I just read “The Help” and thought it was wonderfully written. I live in Mississippi and appreciate the effort to open dialogue on a very sensitive topic. The dialect was accurate and lovely to one who has listened to it all of her life. References to lady peas and blown fuses made it even more comfortable. I would love to catch up with Skeeter in the present.

I have just spent the day reading The Help. It is a wonderful book and I will be thinking about the characters for a long time. I did not want the book to end. I wanted more!
