Laura Goldberg
With over 20 years of experience in the media industry, Laura Goldberg is an established digital media strategist and communications consultant whose clients have included Condé Nast, TheStreet.com, IAC, WETA/TheBookStudio and iVillage, among others. Ms. Goldberg has also been called on to teach blogosphere seminars for blue-chip media companies such as NBC Universal Digital Media Group and Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia.
Additionally Ms. Goldberg is a longstanding food blogger herself and has been tapped to work with like-minded businesses and non-profits such as Serious Eats, Slow Food NYC and The Vendy Awards.
Before launching her consultancy, Ms. Goldberg served as Director of Corporate Communications for AOL, overseeing communications efforts for all programming areas within the portal’s eCommerce, Community and Lifestyle channels, including AOL Books. Earlier, she served as Vice President of Trylon Communications, a New York PR agency specializing in media and technology clients ranging from The Gallup Organization to Scripps Networks and The Week Magazine to Court TV’s hit true-crime series “Forensic Files.” Before that, she worked in arts PR handling The Joyce Theatre, Pilobolus and Ballet Hispanico, among others. She began her career in television production and development with companies such as ABC and HBO.
Ms. Goldberg, a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, resides in Brooklyn Heights, New York.
